Workplace Safety Training Course

From September 11 to 13, 2025, New Standard Company organized a special training course on workplace safety for its staff working at Erbil border checkpoints and within the Domestic Production Committee.

The course focused on the correct use of protective equipment and methods to safeguard employees’ health and safety in the workplace, with special attention to quality and prevention standards.

Technical Training at Yılteks Enerji — Gaziantep, Turkey

New Standard is sending members of its technical team to Gaziantep (Turkey) for hands-on training at Yılteks Enerji (YILTEKS ENERGY), a leading manufacturer of LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) storage tanks and pressure piping. The program focuses on LPG systems fundamentals, safety and operations requirements, and best-practice maintenance and inspection, supporting the readiness of our facilities. This step strengthens our team’s capabilities in preparation for upcoming projects and service expansions.

A team of consultants and laboratories examiners from New Standard Company actively participated in a training course held in Istanbul, Turkey, organized by Intertek UK Company. The course focused on sample preparation techniques for examining chemical pesticides in agricultural and food products, aligning with the goal of enhancing expertise in testing procedures within the industry.

Training on ICP-OES: Heavy Metal and Trace Element Analysis in Various Products

The training focuses on the Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICP-OES), an instrument vital for determining heavy metals and trace elements in a diverse range of products. These include food products (solids, liquids), veterinary products (including meat and milk), agricultural products (fertilizers, pesticides, plant products, and soil), water and wastewaters, petroleum products, drugs, and various environmental aspects. Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge and skills in utilizing ICP-OES for accurate and reliable analysis.
