Led by Dr. Hakim Khushavi, the delegation aimed to evaluate the quality of pharmaceuticals and food products in the Kurdistan Region. The delegation was welcomed by the laboratory supervisor, Dr. Azad Mirkan, and the lab team. The visit focused on assessing the laboratory operations, enhancing the scientific level of the staff, and evaluating the advanced equipment used for quality control. On November 24, 2022, Dr. Silwan Rashid Shingali, Chargé d'Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Washington, D.C., visited the laboratories of New Standard Company at the Ibrahim Khalil International Border Crossing. He was welcomed by the laboratory director, Dr. Azad Abdullah Mirkhan, and the laboratory staff.
The purpose of the visit was to closely observe the working conditions and the mechanisms for task execution in the laboratory. Several related topics were discussed, and Dr. Shingali highly praised the laboratory's performance, expressing his satisfaction with the visit.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Shingali commended the efforts of the laboratory director and his team, affirming his support for any future initiatives. He also promised to work towards establishing a partnership between the company's laboratories and quality control laboratories in the United States in the near future.

Regional Health Protection Administration Delegation Positively Evaluates Laboratories at Ibrahim Khalil Border Crossing

The purpose of the visit was for the delegation to closely familiarize themselves with the conditions, quality, and mechanisms of the laboratory work. At the end of the visit, the delegation commended the company staff for their work, which is performed at a high scientific level using modern and advanced equipment. Visit of the Turkish Consul General to Ibrahim Khalil International Entry Complex

Mr. Hakan Karacay, the Consul General of the Turkish Republic in the Kurdistan Region, along with his accompanying delegation, visited the Ibrahim Khalil entry complex. A meeting was conducted in the presence of the complex supervisor, directors of government departments in the complex, and the general manager of New Standard Company. The meeting focused on discussions regarding joint coordination and trade exchange between the Turkish Republic, the Kurdistan Region, and Iraq.

Visit of the Joint Committee for Follow-up in Duhok District to Ibrahim Khalil International Entry Point

The Joint Committee for Follow-up in the Duhok District visited the company at the Ibrahim Khalil International Entry and held a meeting with the Company Director. During the meeting, the Company Director expressed high appreciation for the committee's continuous and effective field follow-up efforts aimed at preserving the safety of citizens. The Chairman of the Committee, representing the Mayor of Duhok District, presented a letter of thanks and appreciation to the Company Director, acknowledging his continuous support to the committee.

Ministry of Health Delegation’s Visit to Ibrahim Khalil International Entry Point

As part of its visit to Duhok Governorate to inaugurate a specialized intensive care center for Covid-19 patients in the city of Duhok, the delegation from the Ministry of Health of the Kurdistan Regional Government, including the Minister of Health, the Director General of Health in Duhok Governorate, and the Director General of Health in Erbil Governorate, visited the laboratories at Ibrahim Khalil Complex. Following an inspection tour of the complex's laboratories and a review of the testing system, the visiting delegation expressed satisfaction and extended wishes of success to the laboratory staff.

Visit of the Consul General of the United States to Ibrahim Khalil International Entry Point

Rob Waller, the Consul General of the United States of America in Erbil, visited the Ibrahim Khalil International Entry as part of his inspection of the complex's laboratories. Accompanied by the supervisor of Ibrahim Khalil entry, he met with the laboratory supervisor and staff to learn about the system and mechanism for implementing laboratory tests conducted for all materials imported through the two crossings. His Excellency highly praised and expressed his happiness and support for the laboratory during the visit.
