In a significant step toward enhancing the quality assurance standards at border crossings, Mr. Peshwar Jameel Younis, an esteemed employee of New Standard Company, has successfully completed a specialized training course in quality manager. The course, titled "Preparation Course for ASQ Certified Manager of Quality - Organizational Excellence Preparation," was held at the London Premier Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from the 2nd to the 6th of September 2024.
Mr. Younis’s participation and certification underscore New Standard Company's ongoing commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality control across its operations. Following this achievement, Mr. Younis will assume official duties as a certified quality manager, further contributing to the company's mission of ensuring excellence at key border crossings.

Agricultural Export Revolution: Kurdistan Secures International Accreditation, Unlocking Global Markets

We at New Standard Company are pleased to announce that our laboratory for testing and quality control in Ibrahim Khalil has obtained the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) certification. This prestigious achievement comes as a result of persistent efforts and continuous support from the New Standard general administration.

‏Following the auspicious visit of Prime Minister Mr. Masrour Barzani to the Badinian region, during which he pledged to support farmers' exports, we initiated extensive work to achieve this goal. In this context, we participated in the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) conference in the United Arab Emirates, where we held a series of fruitful meetings with representatives from Gulf countries.

‏Thanks to close cooperation with the Jordan Accreditation System (JAS), we have successfully obtained this prestigious certification. This achievement will open new horizons for our farmers to export their products to foreign markets with full confidence and reassurance.

‏We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all members of our team for their outstanding efforts, and we congratulate all farmers and traders in Kurdistan on this resounding success. We are confident that this achievement will contribute to advancing economic development and strengthening the agricultural sector, thereby fulfilling the promises of the president of Kurdistan region.
