On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, Mr. Hamid Ali Ibrahim, the General Supervisor of the Ibrahim Khalil International Border Complex, paid an official visit to the New Standard Company’s laboratory. He was welcomed by Dr. Azad Abdullah Mirkan, the laboratory supervisor, who provided a detailed overview of the laboratory's operations and current performance level.
During the visit, Mr. Ibrahim offered several important ideas and suggestions for further development and enhancement of the laboratory’s work. A broader discussion also took place regarding the general commercial situation and potential improvements in the border’s operations.
At the conclusion of the visit, the border supervisor expressed his satisfaction with the significant progress the laboratory had achieved, extending his thanks to the staff for their efforts and encouraging them to maintain this high level of performance. The delegation was welcomed by the laboratory supervisor, Dr. Azad Mirkan, and the lab team. On November 24, 2022, Dr. Silwan Rashid Shingali, Chargé d'Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Washington, D.C., visited the laboratories of New Standard Company at the Ibrahim Khalil International Border Crossing. He was welcomed by the laboratory director, Dr. Azad Abdullah Mirkhan, and the laboratory staff.
The purpose of the visit was to closely observe the working conditions and the mechanisms for task execution in the laboratory. Several related topics were discussed, and Dr. Shingali highly praised the laboratory's performance, expressing his satisfaction with the visit.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Shingali commended the efforts of the laboratory director and his team, affirming his support for any future initiatives. He also promised to work towards establishing a partnership between the company's laboratories and quality control laboratories in the United States in the near future.

The purpose of the visit was for the delegation to closely familiarize themselves with the conditions, quality, and mechanisms of the laboratory work. Visit of the Turkish Consul General to Ibrahim Khalil International Entry Complex

Mr. Hakan Karacay, the Consul General of the Turkish Republic in the Kurdistan Region, along with his accompanying delegation, visited the Ibrahim Khalil entry complex. A meeting was conducted in the presence of the complex supervisor, directors of government departments in the complex, and the general manager of New Standard Company. The meeting focused on discussions regarding joint coordination and trade exchange between the Turkish Republic, the Kurdistan Region, and Iraq.

The Joint Committee for Follow-up in the Duhok District visited the company at the Ibrahim Khalil International Entry and held a meeting with the Company Director. During the meeting, the Company Director expressed high appreciation for the committee's continuous and effective field follow-up efforts aimed at preserving the safety of citizens. Ministry of Health Delegation’s Visit to Ibrahim Khalil International Entry Point

As part of its visit to Duhok Governorate to inaugurate a specialized intensive care center for Covid-19 patients in the city of Duhok, the delegation from the Ministry of Health of the Kurdistan Regional Government, including the Minister of Health, the Director General of Health in Duhok Governorate, and the Director General of Health in Erbil Governorate, visited the laboratories at Ibrahim Khalil Complex. Following an inspection tour of the complex's laboratories and a review of the testing system, the visiting delegation expressed satisfaction and extended wishes of success to the laboratory staff.
