On November 24, 2022, Dr. Silwan Rashid Shingali, Chargé d'Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Washington, D.C., visited the laboratories of New Standard Company at the Ibrahim Khalil International Border Crossing. He was welcomed by the laboratory director, Dr. Azad Abdullah Mirkhan, and the laboratory staff.
The purpose of the visit was to closely observe the working conditions and the mechanisms for task execution in the laboratory. Several related topics were discussed, and Dr. Shingali highly praised the laboratory's performance, expressing his satisfaction with the visit.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Shingali commended the efforts of the laboratory director and his team, affirming his support for any future initiatives. He also promised to work towards establishing a partnership between the company's laboratories and quality control laboratories in the United States in the near future.
