A Delegation from the Kurdistan Region’s Presidency Office Visits New Standard Laboratories to Assess the Quality of Pharmaceuticals and Food Products at Ibrahim Khalil Border Crossing

A delegation from the Presidency Office of the Kurdistan Region visited the New Standard Company laboratories at the Ibrahim Khalil International Border Crossing. Led by Dr. Hakim Khushavi, the delegation aimed to evaluate the quality of pharmaceuticals and food products in the Kurdistan Region. The delegation was welcomed by the laboratory supervisor, Dr. Azad Mirkan, and the lab team. The visit focused on assessing the laboratory operations, enhancing the scientific level of the staff, and evaluating the advanced equipment used for quality control. The delegation provided valuable suggestions and considerations to the laboratory management to improve their standards and achieve higher ISO certification.
